Adult Ministries

Complementing The Story message on Sundays with a strong Adult Ministry program helps solidify and broaden the teaching. The goal of the adult curriculum is to develop a character or concept that corresponds with each chapter of The Story without attempting to cover the breadth of the other materials. Youth Ministries

The Beta Churches of 2010 will be testing the new youth curriculum, The Story Teen Edition. Check out the samples of the lesson plans and videos for Week 5 (more will be coming soon!).

Last year’s beta churches used the resources in the Teen Toolchest, comprised of a variety of talk outlines, special features, activities, and discussion questions for every chapter. Use the Teen Toolchest as an extra resource to plan lessons for groups that meet more than once a week. Use the Parents’ Pages as a family resource (middle school and high school component included) to help parents engage their teenagers in The Story.

Children’s Ministries

The Beta Churches of 2010 will be testing the new children’s curriculum based on The Story for Kids. Check out the samples of the upcoming lesson plans for preschool, early elementary, and later elementary (more will be coming soon!).

Last year’s beta churches used the Sunday school lessons created by Oak Hills. Use these lessons as an extra resource to plan for groups that meet more than once a week. An exciting feature of the curriculum is the weekly Trading Cards which the children love to collect. Use the Parents’ Pages as a family resource (preschool and elementary components included) to help parents engage their children in The Story.
